Scholarship

The First State Manufactured Housing Association (FSMHA) has announced three recipients of the Manufactured Housing Scholarship Award for 2025 - 2026. Each scholarship is in the amount of $2,500, and totals $7,500.

Jordan Curry
Milford, DE – Milford High School, Class of 2024
Jordan is a standout athlete and scholar.  A varsity wrestler and football player, he is a conference champion in wrestling, placed third at the state finals, and was named 2nd Team All-State in football.  Jordan is currently attending Delaware State University, where he is majoring in Physical Education and playing football. He concluded his freshman year on the President’s List with a 4.0 GPA. Jordan continues to work as a lifeguard over the summer and volunteers as a mentor for children in a local wrestling program.

Carly Favoroso
Milton, DE – Cape Henlopen High School, Class of 2025
Carly has maintained Honor Roll status in all Honors-level courses while actively participating in numerous extracurricular activities. She was a member of the Cape Dance Team for three years, a captain on both the Cheer Team and Dance Team, and the President of Cape’s Best Buddies chapter. Carly has contributed significantly to the Special Olympics DE, both as a Unified Peer Partner and through fundraising efforts as Miss Milton’s Teen, raising over $6,000. She is also a member of the National Honor Society and International Thespian Society and has been a winner at state and national levels for Business Professionals of America (BPA) and DECA. Carly will attend East Carolina University to pursue a BFA in Acting with minors in Dance and Public Relations.

Luke Hitchens

Luke Hitchens
Dagsboro, DE – Indian River High School, Class of 2025
Luke is an accomplished student-athlete who has maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout high school. He served as captain of his state championship-winning football team. This fall, Luke will attend Wilmington University to study Finance and play Division II Men’s Lacrosse.
